THE END OF THE BP OIL SPILL
Two weeks ago, I posted a message on the White House website, advising the Obama Adminsitration to shut the BP Horizon oil rig down permanently. I proposed that the Administration enter into a lease agreement with the Russian Navy, to use their submarines to dive to the ocean floor, to cut the damaged pipeline, at the seabed level. Then the submarines, which are capable of diving to a depth of 12,000 feet, and this needs to only dive 5,280 feet (one mile) to cut this pipe.
Once the pipe is cut, and the submarines are clear, then we need to drop 50,000,000 pounds of granite boulders on top of the severed pipe, and any surrounding fractures of the earth's crust, in proximity to the pipeline, to seal the fractures forever, never to be disturbed again. I see that the adminsitration has not even considered this option. However, they are allowing BP to siphon as much of the leakage as they possibly can, but that does not even come close to matching the rate of loss.
The Obama Adminstration is in the tank for BP, much as it was for Wall Street. I will oppose him for the Oval Office in 2012. Go to The Millenial Peace Foundation Blog, to read my platform, and differentiation between Obama and myself.
